Yep, I sold my computer today. $1100 for a 4 year old PC I had $1200 into is not shabby at all. But I miss the bastard already.

Yep, that's a netbook. An ASUS EeePC 1005HAB, running an Atom N270 at a frequency slower than my attention span cellphone.
This sucks.

What dumb ass paid $1100 for a 4 year old PC?

A YouTube streamer who needed a new gaming PC to replace his laptop. With the three screens he can monitor his livestream while gaming.

Spent way too much damn time on the thing, to the point it was affecting my life.
That, and I had built it as far as I could with that motherboard and processor. To upgrade more would require a new motherboard and CPU. I didn't want to just discard the old parts or stuff them in a closet. This way, when I do build a new PC, I have a clean slate to start with.

But he could build his own. For the same price with newer, better parts. Even with 3 monitors.

Good God, I hope the only reason that guy paid 1100 for it was for the monitors...
I've put in around $800 into my machine (FX8320, Asrock 990FX Killer, Same SSD as yours had, 2X1TB WD Black, 1 Seagate Barracuda 500GB, R9 270, 16GB RAM, Thermaltake A60 AMD edition, 3 NZxT 120 fans, 1 nzxt 140 fan, 1 200 TT fan, Closed loop Antec Kuhler H2O 620, EVGA Supernova 750G2...) Also have a 1920X1200 Samsung SyncMaster 2693HW, Deck Legend Mech Keyboard, UtechSmart Mouse (awesome!), a full Logitech X530 Setup ($30 at the thrift store, woo!), and I think that's it.
Why would someone pay that much for a computer with an i5 in it?!?!

Like I said, I had a total of $1200 into it - including the Windows 7 Home Premium. The monitors are really nice ones, but the whole monitor setup (3 screens, stand, the long cables needed) was about $450.
I like the Supernova B2 over the G2 because the B2 is a SuperFlower design, and they're the best OEM out there right now.
I'm certainly not going to question the buyer's spending habits. :)
